Product Description

How to Paint What You See With Watercolor

Many aspects of the watercolor painting process will be covered in this two-day workshop designed to meet the needs of both beginning and intermediate students.

Participants will explore and learn about materials, how to best mix colors and apply paint, how to see values, make graded washes and soften edges along with other techniques to create an array of effects essential for making successful paintings.

Our subject matter will be the still life but we will step outside the traditional context of still life painting to produce a range of work, some experimental and loose, others more deliberate and refined. Be prepared to be inspired by this versatile and exciting medium and all it can offer.
